My name is Lisa. Design strategist at IBM. Tech and car enthusiast. Amateur hula dancer. Former advertising exec. Cultural advocate. Lover of bubble tea, Japan, artificial intelligence, and Chanel.

I spend my days talking about data analytics with companies looking to optimize their performance with super powered business intelligence. I’m especially interested in understanding the relationship business people have with our products, and how AI can enhance it.

Every other month, I co-host a meet up called Design Strategists where we tackle different topics about the industries that are being disrupted by design and technology, with the leaders responsible for them. It’s always a great forum for discussion and I am so grateful for our sponsor Autodesk for supporting our dream to bring great minds together to inspire ideas and invoke creativity.

I love learning. I stay close with Schulich School of Business, where I earned my mba, and am thrilled to be this year’s Co-Chair for the CONNECT Conference on April 28. I am looking forward to the awesome day of programming the team has planned and I hope if you’re in Toronto, you’ll join us!

I haven’t kept a blog since college and the last letter I wrote was when I used to be the editor-in-chief of Scion Magazine. But I’m excited to kick off my own Medium account.

If you don’t value learning, design strategy, human relationships with artificial intelligence, travel tips, or hearing me gush about Porsche, then you probably don’t want to follow me. But if you do, then I’m looking forward to sharing my stories with you.

Onward and up.
